Unhealthy Chatham County needs access to sidewalks, bike trails

Already we have seen a positive usage rate by the Black community for this new trail. To those who frequently visit Lake Mayer, this should come as no surprise. For many years the park has been a diverse location for recreation and exercise. The addition of the TLPT connector, based off of visual observations by trained graduate assistants over the course of 21 days, has shown that 42% of its users are Black.
